Kumiko Noda has been in Hong Kong for more than
10 years. Previously establishing her first career in fashion
and entertainment industry in Japan, she foresaw future of business
opportunities in Hong Kong when she visited there as a tourist
in June 1996. After enrolled in the Hong Kong Chinese University
from 1998 as a language student, she took job roles such as a
sales manager of the major Japanese furniture manufacturer, and
a merchandiser for promoting products of Mainland China to the
Japanese market. In March 2006, she incorporated her own company: "Wild
Berry" in Tsim Sha Tsui, selling accessories of her own
brand, and also promoting Deco-Den, which she was the first person
to introduce it in Hong Kong and received a lot of attention
from TV programs and magazines. In meantime, she diversified
her business in many other aspects, such as a role of interior
designer for office / shop / residence and promoting events by
exploiting her experience. She hopes to continue to be a bridge
between Hong Kong and Japan in many new fields.
